A profile that cannot be faked
Profiles only publish with real friends' participation and vouches. Copying that gate would break the incumbents' own funnel.
Greenflag is opening its first angel round and looking for a lead. This is the short version: the shift we are riding, the moat we are building, and how to start the conversation.
Online dating is turning. After a decade of swiping, users are exhausted, trust in profiles sits at an all-time low, and the fastest-growing formats in the category are the ones that put real people in real rooms. The incumbents are structurally stuck: their revenue depends on the search, not the outcome.
Greenflag starts from the other end. Your friends build and vouch for your profile, so every live profile carries the word of real people who know the person. Trust is not a feature we added. It is the publishing rule the whole product is built on.
"The incumbents fight each other for a $20 subscription. We are not in that fight."
Profiles only publish with real friends' participation and vouches. Copying that gate would break the incumbents' own funnel.
Every dater brings friends in to build their profile. Acquisition, credibility, and data are the same mechanic, so growth compounds instead of being bought.
Women are leaving the category. Vouched identities, mutual-only matching, anti-ghosting mechanics: trust is designed in, not patched on.
The app earns scale and trust. The real-world layer earns the share of wallet people actually spend on meeting someone, multiples of what any swipe app can charge.
We are looking for a lead angel.
Greenflag Dinners are small, curated tables at partner restaurants where every seat is a vouched member, with a structured follow-up inside the app afterward. The dinner-format wave has already proven that people pay to meet in person; we add the two things that category refuses to touch: the dating frame and the trust layer.
Dinners are ticketed from the first table, so revenue does not wait for app-scale density. And because attendance, vouching, and follow-up live in one product, the same layer becomes the substrate for deeply personalized matchmaking over time, in ways swipe apps structurally cannot match.
The product is built and live: iOS and Android apps, a web experience for the friends who do the vouching, and full English and Spanish support from day one. San Diego is the launch market, chosen and sized deliberately rather than sprayed across a map, with room to grow that we will walk you through in person.
We run on published validation gates, and we share the kill criteria with our investors. Candor is the asset: you will always know what we are testing, what would prove it, and what would end it.
We are raising our first angel round and looking for a lead. We weight expertise over check size: consumer growth, dating and social products, and San Diego networks are worth more to us than an extra zero.
The founder takes a $0 salary, indefinitely; the raise funds the company. The deck, the product demo, the numbers, and the data room are shared once you reach out. Nothing more is public here, because the interesting parts are competitive.
