Safe dating starts before the date.

Greenflag adds friend context, verification, and reporting tools, but your judgment still matters. Here is the plain, practical version.

N°01 - ONLINE SAFETY

Protect your money, identity, and peace.

Never send money, gift cards, crypto, banking details, verification codes, or identity documents to someone you met through a dating app. A real connection will not ask you to rescue them financially.

Keep early conversation inside Greenflag until trust is earned. If someone pushes you off-app immediately, pressures you, or tries to isolate you from your friends' input, slow down.

Be careful with exact location details, workplace information, daily routines, and anything that would make you easy to find before you choose to meet.

N°02 - BEFORE YOU MEET

Make the first date easy to leave.

01

Choose public places

Meet somewhere with people around: coffee, a walk in a busy area, a casual bar, or a daytime plan.

02

Tell someone

Send the plan to a friend: who you are meeting, where you are going, and when you expect to be home.

03

Handle your own transportation

Have your own way there and back. Do not rely on a new date for a ride or share your home address too early.

04

Keep the first plan simple

Short, low-pressure plans are easier to extend when it feels good and easier to end when it does not.

N°03 - BOUNDARIES

Consent is not a vibe. It is a standard.

01

No pressure

You can change your mind, pause, leave, or say no at any point.

02

No retaliation

A respectful person can hear a boundary without punishing you for it.

03

No ambiguity games

If a situation feels confusing on purpose, step back and choose clarity.

04

No shame in backup

Ask a friend to call, pick you up, or help you leave. That is what friends are for.

N°04 - REPORTING

If something feels wrong, tell us.

Use the in-app report flow whenever someone is threatening, sexually inappropriate, deceptive, hateful, coercive, or unsafe. Reports are reviewed by humans.

If there is immediate danger, contact local emergency services first. Greenflag can review platform behavior, preserve account context, and take account action, but emergency services are the right first step for urgent physical danger.

You can also email safety@trygreenflag.com. Include the account name, what happened, and any relevant screenshots if you have them.

Dating should feel human, not reckless
